First, lithium electric vehicle charging instructions
1. Recharge: the battery pack has some charge left before leaving the factory. After the electric vehicle is sold, it can also ride for a short distance. After the first ride, the battery should be charged for the first time. It is recommended that the first charge should take a little longer (8-12 hours).
The battery pack should be charged in time after use. If the battery is not used for more than two months, the battery pack needs to be fully charged. If the battery pack is stored for more than 5 months, perform a charge-discharge cycle. Regular use of the battery, normal use, long time to charge the battery pack regularly, can ensure the best practical effect of the battery pack, and extend the service life
2. Normal charging: First connect the charger to the charged battery pack, and then connect the charger power plug to the 220V AC power supply. (This connection sequence will avoid electrical sparks when plugging in and out of the charging plug.) When the power is connected, the charger shows a red indicator indicating that the battery pack is charging normally. It can be charged for 6-8 hours normally.
3. Note of charger: In order to ensure the charging safety and service life of the battery pack, this battery pack can only use the supporting 36V lithium charger. If the charger is lost or damaged, please find the corresponding dealer to buy. Do not use a lead-acid charger or other form of charger for charging.
Second, lithium battery maintenance
As lithium batteries are non-memory batteries, customers suggest regular charging or replenishing of battery packs after each or every day riding, which will greatly improve the service life of battery packs. It is recommended that you do not charge the battery string every time you ride until the battery string cannot discharge power. It is not recommended that the discharge exceeds 90% of the battery string capacity. When the electric vehicle is at rest and the undervoltage indicator lights up, it needs to be charged in time.
When the electric vehicle starts, walks on steep slope road, dirt road or strong headwind state, it is recommended that customers use pedal power while riding, so that the battery and motor have the longest life.
Battery pack capacity is measured at 25 ° C, so a slight reduction in battery capacity and range is considered normal during the winter months. You are advised to charge the battery string in a place with high ambient temperature in winter to ensure that the battery string is fully charged. When the electric vehicle is not riding or parked, customers are advised to unplug the link between the battery pack and the electric vehicle, or turn off the power lock. Because the motor and controller will consume power in no-load state, please avoid wasting power.
Third, lithium battery use precautions
When riding in rain or snow, the part of the discharge jack between the battery pack and the electric bike should not come into contact with water. Turn off the battery power switch when not in use to avoid short circuit. And try to avoid the use of electric vehicles in harsh environments. Ensure that the battery pack is waterproof. Batteries should be placed away from water and fire sources and kept dry to avoid strong shaking, bump and short circuit. Batteries should be kept out of direct sunlight during the summer months.
